1. Information We Collect
We collect information you provide directly to us, such as your name and email address when you create an account. We also collect information about your purchases and usage of our platform. We do not collect more data than necessary to provide our services.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use your information to: (a) provide, maintain, and improve our services; (b) process transactions and send you related information; (c) send you technical notices and support messages; (d) respond to your comments and questions. We never sell your personal data to third parties.
3. Payment Information
All payment processing is handled by PayPal (UAE Business Account). LearnGeni never stores your credit card information on our servers. Your payment data is encrypted and handled securely by PayPal.
4. Resume Builder Data
When you use our resume builder, we collect the information you voluntarily enter: full name, job title, professional summary, skills, work history, education, phone number, social media links (e.g. LinkedIn), location, and optionally a profile photo. This data is stored securely in Supabase (servers located in the US and EU). Your resume data is retained until you delete your account or remove your resume. We do NOT use your resume content or any user-generated content to train AI models. Your data is yours. Profile photos are stored as uploaded and are accessible via a URL if your profile is set to public.
5. Public Resume Profiles
Resume profiles can be made public at a URL such as learngeni.com/en/resume/your-username. Public profiles may be indexed by search engines including Google. You can control the visibility of your profile from your dashboard settings — setting your profile to private will prevent it from being indexed by search engines. Private profiles are NOT accessible to the public and NOT indexed. You can delete your resume at any time from your dashboard settings, which permanently removes all your resume data.
6. Data Security
We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your personal information. All data is transmitted over HTTPS with 256-bit SSL encryption. We regularly review and update our security practices.
7. AI Training Policy
We do NOT use your personal data, resume content, or any user-generated content to train AI models. Your data is yours. LearnGeni uses AI tools solely to assist in content generation for our educational materials — never to process or learn from user data.
8. Resume Visibility Controls
You have full control over your resume visibility. You can: (a) set your profile to private so it is not visible to the public; (b) disable your public profile link from dashboard settings; (c) delete your resume entirely from your dashboard, which permanently and immediately removes all your resume data from our servers. Private profiles are never indexed by search engines.
9. Data Processors
We use the following third-party services to operate our platform: Supabase (database and file storage — US/EU servers, SOC 2 compliant); PayPal (payment processing); Resend (transactional email delivery); Vercel (website hosting — US/EU servers). Each processor handles data according to their own privacy policies and data processing agreements.
10. Data Retention
Account data (name, email, preferences) is retained until you delete your account. Purchase records are retained for 7 years to comply with legal and tax obligations. Resume data is deleted immediately and permanently upon account deletion or when you remove your resume from the dashboard. Email communication records are retained for up to 12 months.
11. Cookies
We use essential cookies to maintain your session and remember your preferences. We use analytics cookies to understand how our platform is used. You can disable cookies in your browser settings, but some features may not work properly.
12. Your Rights
You have the right to access, update, or delete your personal information at any time. You can do this through your account dashboard or by contacting us at support@learngeni.com. For data deletion requests or privacy inquiries, you may also contact legal@learngeni.com. We will respond to all requests within 30 days.
